Project Description
These funds seek to expand Greenbelt CARES services, including: Fund evidence based youth mental health programs, more services for those with mental health issues; Aging Support Services for frail & at-risk seniors.
Project Updates
CARES has hired 2 full time temporary case managers for GAIL program. Both are Bilingual. Partnered with Police department to hire 2 Crisis Intervention Counselors as well as continued expansion of part time CARES counselor as a full time position. Additionally, CARES Contractual staff have been hired to provide mental health services to seniors and bilingual mental health services
